You guys, I read a blog last week that is *so exactly* everything I would want to say about point of view. Written by Toni McGee Causey over on the Murder She Writes blog, it's the best explanation of the importance of point of view not only in deciding the "I" or "she" of your manuscript, but also in informing every single word choice, your sentence construction, and really the entire narrative flow.
Go read it, you will not be disappointed!
I loved her post so much I immediately downloaded Toni's first book to my Kindle. Impulses! The internet facilitates them!
So rather than blather on at you about the only thing I seem able to keep on my mind lately (YOU GUYS I AM GETTING MARRIED IN 24 DAYS), I figured I'd point you to that incredible post.
Also, one of my favorite artists, Lykke Li, has a new video out today, and it's got a wedding theme! Um, only my wedding will be, you know, much happier. And won't have Stellan Skarsgård.
Have a great Thursday, everyone!
[And as for last week's contest, Helen Cassidy Page, you won! Email me at alison.BHB at gmail and I'll send along your ebook!]
