I chair a mystery bookclub that meets once a month. The group was started last November 2014 and has increased in size each month! I started the mystery bookclub because I personally enjoy mysteries and I felt there are more readers that read the mystery genre only than you are aware of.
We just reviewed THE PSALMIST by James Lilliefors and what a great conversation came of it. It has become a tradition that the author supplies me with 12 readers group questions that has really made the review process special!
I took great pleasure in watching the group show up with pages of questions and notes and better yet a few with their bibles too. THE PSALMIST references psalms that supply clues to the murders and the meanings that help to link the murders to each other and more!
This month's pick is a legal thriller by Adam Mitzner the CONFLICT OF INTEREST.
Are you a part of a bookclub and why do you enjoy it?
