My Bookclub is reading Laura Bradford's "Suspendered Sentence" this month. Personally I am growing fond of how the Amish live their life.
Most are very hard working, eat what they grow, take care of each other, and do without electric and things that aren't necessary. They live a simple peaceful lifestyle.
I am having a delightful time in Heavenly, Pennsylvania where a human skeleton's remains are found in the Stoltzfus's Barn. Detective Jakob Fisher-once a member of the Amish community himself, is determined to solve the young woman's murder with the help of Claire Weatherly a shop owner. They must dig into the past to bring to light long buried secrets -secrets that someone is willing to kill to protect......
If you'd like to join our group discussion Tuesday June 9th at 7:00pm comment below. Ms Bradford kindly wrote reader questions just for us!
