So I've decided how I'd like to decorate my future (so far theoretical) house: Book Art!
For instance, the entire text of Peter Pan, typeset in a poster depicting the Pan/Hook sword fight:
Or this poster, which is a handy guide for being sure your novel is ready to be published:
I could put houseplants and fresh herbs in awesome little book planters:
Of course, I'll need bookshelves to keep my actual books safe and secure, and if I had the money, I'd get The Cave:
However, of all the literary-inspired home decor I've come across, the one I know I *won't* be getting is the life-size Edward Cullen shadow wall decal. HE WATCHES YOU WHILE YOU SLEEP!
I want the Cave so much! If I knock down the wall between our bedroom and the kitchen . . .
Have you seen the book-shaped furniture companies are making for libraries now? I want this for a breakfast nook!

This reminds me of a story I once heard about William Gaines, publisher of Mad Magazine. His office was apparently on a high floor of a NY skyscraper and taped to the outside of the windows was a giant likeness of King Kong's eyes looking in at him.

That poster is just wonderful. But no matter how much I click here and there, I can´t read all the small print. Perhaps that is just as well.

I'd definitely go for the Peter Pan poster. I'm against destroying books to make planters, lamps, or art in general. And I'm afraid my size 16 feet wouldn't fit in the Cave. As for the Edward Cullen poster, ewww! (And it would probably sparkle while you slept.)
