Librarians as detectives

I thought I would research librarian detectives for this week's post, but it turns out that the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and the folks at Stop, You're Killing Me have already done my work for me:

The best-known of the librarian detectives is probably Elizabeth Peters's Jacqueline Kirby, who appears in four novels: The Seventh Sinner, The Murders of Richard III, Die for Love, and Naked Once More.
