October has gone to the dogs

The month of October in my family is known as "It's All About Nomi".  Today we will be at the Historic Towne of Smithville New Jersey taking part in the annual Pet Halloween Costume Parade.     
Yes, I am THAT pet parent who dresses her dog in costume and travels near and far to events.  

Nomi as Annie Oakley, is wearing her own authenic fitted cowgirl hat with a sterling silver concha with turquoise on the front and a suede and leather fringe handmade dress from San Fransciso.  Chosen as a winner in Lambertville, NJ a couple years ago. The events raise money for non-profit animal rescue groups all the while the dogs and their owners have a day oudoors to enjoy.
