Why am I even thinking about winter? Well, preseason football has started, school starts in less than a month, and frankly, it’s going to be here much sooner that I would like. So yeah, this caught my attention. Stupid Farmer’s Almanac.
"Winter will be colder than normal."
Apparently they are accurate 80% of the time. This is why I am giving the almanac the stink eye.
Our winters here can get cold, brutally cold. We average between 8 and 27 degrees from December to beginning of March. But the Almanac says we are going to get very cold this winter and have a lot more snow. They are predicting those bone penetrating icy winds that make our temps drop to negative 40 degrees. Last winter wasn’t so bad, but the one before, 2013-14, we had 53 days of below zero temps and a bunch of “snow days.” At negative 40 is when they cancel or delay school because kids can’t stand outside to catch the school bus in that weather.
My solution – Midnight Ink needs to move to a warmer climate! But where to go? Give me your suggestions and why. Then I will make my case to management!
If it makes you feel any better, the Farmer's Almanac tells us we're going to have a colder, wetter winter every year. Told us that last year. We had one huge snow storm--and that was it. But you still need to move to a warmer climate, and so do I. See you there?

Northern VA has an abundance of real estate both commercial and residential, my county has one of the top ten school districts in the country, and there's, you know, me. :)
