Terri Bischoff
Hey everyone! Last week I was on vacation and didn't post. So this week I thought I would share some pics. (These all were also on facebook as well. Sorry for the repeat.) I went on vacation with my younger sister and her family. We did a three night cruise to the Bahamas, then we stayed in Florida at a Disney property in Vero Beach. It was probably one of the best real vacations I have ever had. Everything went well, the weather was beautiful, and we ate and drank a lot of yummy stuff, went shopping, and walked along the beach. It also came at the perfect time - I was feeling burnt out and needed a reset. And it worked. I read five books on vacation, actually seven if you count the two I reread. I have since read two more books and I'm in the middle of another page turner. When not reading for work, I tend to read in spurts and right now I am in the reading groove. I can't express how happy that makes me. There are few things that make me happier than reading.
And of course, after I got home, I was super happy to see my kids. Cause they are three of the things I love more than reading.
Since getting back to work, I gave our Fall 2017 sales conference. It was great to talk about line up. It's pretty strong and includes two hardcovers - Catriona McPherson and G.M. Malliet. It' also has two of our "oldies" in Sue Ann Jaffarian and Jess Lourey. Sue Ann's title is the 12th in her series and Jess comes in with number 11. Mixed in we have three newcomers. I try to balance my catalogs so there is something for everyone!
And now it's time for me to get back into the grind. Manuscripts are piling up and meeting requests are coming in. Even though in theory I have a little downtime, it doesn't feel like it. After my vacation though, I'm ready to jump in with both feet!
I love seeing all the new titles coming up and I hate waiting. That's something for everyone too. 😊

What? No mention of the Cohen/Copperman collaboration (!) coming up? I'm appalled. (Not really.) Glad you got to refresh yourself, Terri. Now have at it!
By the way, I do see THE QUESTION OF THE ABSENTEE FATHER in the titles you pictured, so all is forgiven.

Nothing beats a reading/beaching vacation. When we go to the Cape, we load the car up with books. The Kindle has made my luggage lighter...
Congrats on the new lineup. I know Julie's and Catriona's books are going to the top of my TBR pile (sadly, now by my nightstand and not yet on a beach)
