Yesterday was a great day! My great nephew arrived yesterday afternoon. His name is Grayson and I can't wait to shower him with kisses. He came in at 7lb 3oz and 20 inches long.
But the day also brought some sadness to my family. One of my aunts passed away last night. I don't get to see my extended family much since I live about 5 hours away, but I have very fond memories of my Aunt Kathy. Man that woman could bake! She had a lot of health problems and her body just couldn't make it any longer. But I know she loved and was loved.
So, comings and goings. Two different types of love and both bring tears to my eyes, but love nonetheless. And I celebrate Aunt Kathy's life and the joy of Grayson's arrival in our lives.
life is bittersweet. So glad you could welcome Grayson on this day.

The full cycle. Hugs on one end, clapping (and hugs) on the other.
