A Brief Plea for Help

BRAINTREE, MA--I am not here today. That is, I am here, but not where I usually am, because the family is taking a long-coming long weekend here in Enemy Territory

(Red Sox Nation) to see where John Adams lived, where John Kennedy left his library and where some witches got themselves hanged except they weren't so much witches. So I'm not actually posting anything new for visitors this week.

I'll use this post to add my voice to those of many in the mystery community: Our friend Jeff Abbott, a fine mystery writer and better person, and his family were left without their home when lightning struck their house and the subsequent fire took it from them. I think the lovely Elaine Viets did this best so I'll suggest you click here and leave it to her.
