In the spring of 1962, Colorado College students, faculty, and staff moved books and other materials from the soon-to-be-demolished Coburn Library to the new Tutt Library in what became known as the Big Book Move. Boxes traveled down a conveyor belt from an upper window of Coburn and were then hand-carried to the new building. This one-minute silent video is extracted from a 20-minute DVD (a conversion from reel-to-reel), donated to CC Special Collections by Oscar Soule, CC class of 1962.
